Sarah Janin is a fully certified IFMGA/AMGA Mountain Guide, Avalanche Course Leader, and one of the first female Certified Splitboard Guides in the United States.
Originally from coastal Alaska and the San Juan Islands of Washington, Sarah moved to Colorado and has spent more than a decade guiding ski, splitboard, rock, and alpine objectives throughout North America and abroad. Her guiding has taken her from the glaciers and peaks of the Pacific Northwest and the Rockies to classic alpine terrain in Europe and beyond.
Equally passionate about technical instruction and personal adventure, Sarah specializes in helping climbers and skiers build confidence, refine movement skills, and develop sound decision-making in the mountains.
Whether leading a first alpine climb, teaching avalanche education, or guiding complex objectives in remote terrain, she is committed to creating meaningful experiences that blend challenge, learning, and fun.
