Canada- Rogers Pass- Golden, BC

These Canadian spring trips are custom-built for prime conditions. Most objectives run from late March into early April, when the snowpack is deep and the days are longer. Base yourself in beautiful Golden, BC, just outside Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, and head into the glaciated peaks of Rogers Pass for deep powder and steep couloirs. Heli-assisted options may be available out of Golden, and select hut trips can be arranged with at least a year’s advance planning.

Switzerland- Berner-Oberland Traverse

This advanced ski traverse in the dramatic Swiss Alps will test your skills as a skier. Glaciated, steep terrain and long descents make this a once-in-a-lifetime line and a forever memory. Each hut becomes a unique and welcoming place to eat, dry out, and rest before the next big day. These trips are typically best in April, when the snowpack is more stable and crevasses are easier to manage.

Italy- Ortler Traverse

Italy is known for its incredible food, and it doesn’t disappoint on this hut-to-hut ski tour. Each summit you climb and ski from makes the journey worthwhile as you descend to the next of five welcoming huts. This tour works well for a wide range of ages and abilities, making it an ideal first international hut trip.
